PLATO (PLAnetary Transits and Oscillations of stars) is a space telescope under development by the European Space Agency (ESA). It should be launched in 2026, with the main objective of detecting Earth-like planets and constraining their frequency in the Galaxy. The EXOTIC group will participate in PLATO, notably in the validation and characterization of its exoplanet candidates.
